First I will diagnose what the issue is and then discuss with you how it can be fixed. This is my usual process for fixing WordPress bugs:
- To diagnose the issue, I would ask for your WP-admin access to your site to access the information I need. I might need FTP info or MySQL access to fix database-related issues.
- After I identify the problem, I will give you a fixed price and time estimate for the repair. If you decide you would like me to proceed, I will fix the issue for you.
- In some cases, we may need to fix the issue and test it on a staging (testing) server first. If that is the case, after we test the fix on the staging website, I will migrate my work to the production website.
